ELIGIBILITY:
1. In order to win a contest, listeners must be the 17th caller at 302-622-WJKS.
2. All contest winners must be 18 years of age or older and must have proper identification and proof of age (i.e., via driver's license, passport or other photo I.D. with birth date).
3. Employees of QC Communications, Inc., and its subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors and promotional partners, and members of their immediate households, are ineligible to participate or win.
4. Listeners are limited to one winner per family per household every thirty (30) days.
PRIZES:
1. Proper identification and proof of age (i.e. via driver's license, passport or other picture I.D. with birth date) must be presented before prizes will be released to winners.
2. All cash prizes will be awarded to selected winners in the form of a check, and will be distributed in person by WJKS.
3. All prizes awarded to selected winners must be picked up at the corporate offices of QC Communications, Inc., located at First Federal Plaza Building, 704 King Street, Suite 604, Wilmington, DE 19801
4. The average process time for receipt of check is approximately twenty one (21) business days from the date the contest winner is awarded their cash prize on the air.
5. Any prize not claimed in thirty (30) days from the date the prize is awarded to the winner on the air will be forfeited.
6. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.
7. Some prizes may be awarded via guest list.
LEGAL CONDITIONS:
1. By entering a contest, the winner agrees to comply with these Official Rules and with the decisions of the contest sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the contest.
2. All decisions regarding any aspect of the contest shall be made by QC Communications, Inc. management and are final.
3. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.
4. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
5. By participating in a contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the contest, and must sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
6. All contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600.00 or greater. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners agree to hold QC Communications, Inc. and its officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, as well as its subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors, and promotional partners, harmless against any and all claims or liability, directly or indirectly related to or arising from the contest winner's participation in the contest.
7. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS form or the equivalent, based upon the retail value of prize.
8. So long as no contestant is adversely affected in any material way, QC Communications, Inc. reserves the right to make changes to the rules of the contest at any time during the contest period, without prior notice. Any changes made will become effective once announced on the air or posted on the website.
9. Failure of a contestant to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant disqualification. QC Communications, Inc. and its subsidiaries, general partner(s), affiliates, participating sponsors and promotional partners will not assume any responsibility for any changes in the execution of the contest, including cancellation of the contest as a result of the occurrence of events not within the control of QC Communications, Inc., its subsidiaries, its general partner(s), its affiliates, participating sponsors/promotional partners and other radio stations, such as Acts of God, Strikes, and Terrorist Acts. In the event such an act should occur, reasonable attempts will be made to offer the winner comparable prize(s) currently being offered by participating stations in lieu of the prize originally awarded.
